GLOBAL WARMING : What Can YOU Do ??????

Don't Be Confused!

 Our beautiful Planet is under stress,
 and maybe even in grave danger.

Science is in agreement that our Planet
 is warming, but to what degree,
 is the QUESTION?

Science is also in agreement that it is
by the actions of Human Beings
that our Planet is warming, but is there
any ONE action that is the most concerning,
 is the QUESTION?

 And science debates, will this Planet become over-taken
by Floods, Fire or become the Frozen Tundra,
 is the QUESTION?

 Also, let us not forget that there are other
 PLAYERS in this DEBATE.

 Governments, Politics, and Special Interests

And if permitted, they will be debating the issues even
 as disaster has inundated our Planet.

It is obvious that science is over-whelmed by the enormity
of the diverse factors and potential issues.

And Governments, Politics and Special Interests will function
as it always has done for years, and debate the issues to death.

The real QUESTION is, what are YOU going to do about
 the health of our Planet and the issue of Global Warming?

 Are YOU going to WAIT until Science, Governments,
 Politics and Special Interests comes up with a special PLAN?

 Please don't hesitate and WAIT!

OVER-WHELMED?!?!?!?

We believe, here at Plentiful Planet, that every human being
 has an instinctual inner knowing, or conscious, that if you will permit
yourself to listen to it , you already know what is either
 good or bad for yourself and our Planet.

 Just keep in mind that,

"Whatever we do to our Planet, we are doing to Ourselves".

 " Take, and use, what you truly only NEED, not want".

 "Use it up! Wear it out! Then find another use for it!
Or simply do without!" - A Native American saying

"Waste not, want not".

Still Feeling OVER-WHELMED?

We know that the problems we and the Planet face are enormous.
Please don't feel helpless!
You may not be able to control the actions of others.
 But you CAN control what YOU DO! And in the end,
YOU are only responsible for YOUR ACTIONS, and how
 large of an evironmental footprint YOU leave behind after you are gone.

WHAT CAN YOU DO???

 You must realize that the mess our Planet is in is immense.
And if you allow it to be, the issues can be over-whelming and
 can put you in a state of confusion, and even depression.

 But be of good cheer!

Clear your conscious!

There is plenty you can do!

 Remember that, EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!

And every little bit YOU do counts, and helps our Planet
to recover, and leave a better World for our children, and all
 the other creatures we share this beautiful Planet with!

Make A Difference

Take The Pledge
To Improve Our
Environment

 We are asking you to join us in signing The Pledge, which calls for a 90% cut in global warming pollution. The pledge is a simple way to show that the political will exists to take the bold steps necessary to end the climate crisis. But it will only be effective if millions of Americans speak out and add their voice.

THE PLEDGE:

1. To demand that my country join an international treaty within the next 2 years that cuts global warming pollution by 90% in developed countries and by more than half worldwide in time for the next generation to inherit a healthy earth;

2. To take personal action to help solve the climate crisis by reducing my own CO2 pollution as much as I can and offsetting the rest to become "carbon neutral;"

3. To fight for a moratorium on the construction of any new generating facility that burns coal without the capacity to safely trap and store the CO2;

4. To work for a dramatic increase in the energy efficiency of my home, workplace, school, place of worship, and means of transportation;

5. To fight for laws and policies that expand the use of renewable energy sources and reduce dependence on oil and coal;

6. To plant new trees and to join with others in preserving and protecting forests; and,

7. To buy from businesses and support leaders who share my commitment to solving the climate crisis and building a sustainable, just, and prosperous world for the 21st century.
